About The Client

Scientist.com is the leading marketplace for outsourced R&D, connecting scientists at pharma and biotech companies with a vetted global network of research suppliers. The platform handles sourcing, ordering, and compliance in one place, so research teams spend less time on procurement and more time on science. After a discovery and planning engagement in early 2026, we partnered with Scientist.com to design and build Phase 1 of their new marketing site in Webflow. The brief: fold four separate marketing properties into a single scientist.com experience, migrate years of content without losing SEO authority, and launch by early June for key industry events.

Challenges & Our Solutions

Challenge 1
Marketing content scattered across four separate web properties
Solutions
Consolidated InsideScientific, HealthEconomics.com, and two scientist.com subdomains into one domain, organized into two resource hubs: the Innovation Hub and Scientist.com Insights.
Challenge 2
Every site and content update depended on developers
Solutions
Rebuilt the marketing site in Webflow with a component-based design system and structured CMS collections the marketing team runs on its own, with recorded training and a tutorial library for handoff.
Challenge 3
Migrating 1,200+ posts risked years of accumulated SEO authority
Solutions
Mapped individual 301 redirects for every migrated URL, preserving link equity from the legacy domains and keeping any post-migration dip short.
Challenge 4
Marketing content was invisible inside the Scientist.com platform
Solutions
Configured Webflow's Content Delivery API to mirror published content into app.scientist.com, making Webflow the single source of truth for blogs and webinars.
